GAN Limited is concerning Nevada.
The B2B innovation provider and services business received regulatory approval last week from the Nevada Gaming Commission to present its legal sports wagering platform to Silver State clients.
"We are extremely pleased and humbled to have actually gotten regulative approval from the State of Nevada to hold a gaming license," stated GAN Interim CEO Seamaus McGill. "We are thrilled that we will be launching our leading-edge GAN Sports item in Nevada in the next few months."
GAN Sports can begin trial operations of its sports wagering platform following next month's state certification and approval. GAN currently has the infrastructure for online wagering websites and retail wagering constructed.
"The Las Vegas Locals market is one of the biggest and most identifiable video gaming markets in the world, and we are incredibly thrilled to be entering it," McGill said. "This is the third state where our B2B sports wagering technology and trading option, GAN Sports, will be functional, and we eagerly anticipate bringing a special and fun wagering experience to a large and growing market."
Adding to portfolio
GAN is widely understood in The United States and Canada as an online and land-based casino innovation software application service provider. The company is currently providing sports wagering technology to Wynn's Encore Boston Harbor and Casino in Gulfport, Mississippi.
GAN, headquartered in Irvine, California, has 25 operating licenses globally and provides B2C propriety sports wagering in select European and Latin American markets too.
Trying year for GAN
GAN revealed second-quarter earnings of $33.8 million, down $1.2 million from the previous year, with $9.9 million coming from the B2B segment and $23.9 from B2C.
Entering a Nevada sports wagering market that produced an August handle of $431 million comes at a crucial time for GAN, which is reorganizing as a company following the departure of former CEO Dermot Smurfit.
GAN's partner, WynnBet, shut down operations in six states previously this year as well.
